Please read carefully the terms and conditions of booking
Between YOU (Hereafter called the Client)
And Steve Nixon (Hereafter called the Artist)
Witnesses that the Client hereby engages the Artist and the Artist accepts an Engagement to appear as Steve Nixon
at the venue and on the date/time for the agreed fee stated in the following booking form:
The Artist agrees to appear at the agreed date approximatly 15 minutes before the agreed time and perform as agreed.
Fees payable
The fees payable are for the TIME of the performer, not the actual performance.
If the start of performance is delayed for reasons due to the performer then the finish time will be extended to complete the full time of performance. Where this is not possible then the fee payable will be reduced accordingly. If the performance is delayed for any other reasons, then the finish time will remain the same, if the finish time is extended then the fee will be increased pro rata. Cheques are no longer accepted.
Payment Schedule
Price of Entertainment is as agreed and is not negotiable on the day.
The agreed fee is payable to Artist in cash on the day of the show. Or in advance by BAC's transfer or by a cheque received 14 days before event.
A £50.00 deposit per day is required for all bookings. This deposit is only refundable at the discression of the artist.
The Artist shall be responsible for his own tax and national insurance contributions
Cancellation
If the booking for the Artist is subsequently cancelled, the following fees will apply: Within 7 days of making the booking - no fee will be due unless the event date is within 7 days. (in this instance then 50% of the fee will be payable). Within 30 days of show - 50% of the total cost. Within 14 days of show - 100% of the total cost. All cancellation fees are payable within 14 days of cancellation.
Please note that if a booking is cancelled due to inclement weather conditions then in all cases the cancellation fees will still apply.
To cancel a booking, an e-mail must be sent to me at steve@acemagician.co.uk as soon as possible and you must request a read receipt. It remains the responsibility of the client to ensure that the artist has received the cancellation notice.
General
The Client shall provide supervision of persons attending the function and shall remove any persons causing a nuisance to the Artist or persons attending. All toddlers must be closely supervised. The Client shall provide a parking space for the artist at or near the venue and will cover the total costs of parking (if any). The Client will pay for any loss or damage caused to the Artist’s equipment by persons attending this function in full. In the unlikely event of the artist being unable to attend every effort will be made to find a suitable replacement at the same price.
